At Keiki Early Learning, we fully embrace the Early Years Learning Framework, which was developed to ensure your child receives quality education programs at this vital time in their development. We promote play-based learning that is engaging and builds success for life. Our learning programs are responsive to your child’s ideas, interests, strengths and abilities, and recognise that children learn through their play.

  • Belonging is the basis for living a fulfilling life.
  • Being is about living here and now. Childhood is a special time in life and children need time to just ‘be’—time to play, try new things and have fun.
  • Becoming is about the learning and development that young children experience. Children start to form their sense of identity from an early age, which shapes the type of adult they will become.

Early Years Learning Framework

The Early Years Learning Framework describes the principles, practices and outcomes that enhance young children’s learning from 0-5 years of age, as well as their transition to school. The Framework assists early childhood educators in implementing the framework in their service.

Early Learning and Child Care centres must go through an assessment and rating process to ensure they are meeting the ‘National Quality Standards’. We are proud to share that we have been rated as ‘Exceeding’ the standards by ACECQA, the governing body of our industry, for our Mindarie Primary and Hamersley services.
