Kindergarten: Setting the foundation for a lifelong love of learning
To enhance children’s learning and development, we have two groups in the Kindy Room – the Pre-Kindy and Kindy groups. This means that children aged between 2 ½ and 5 years will have access to a tailored learning program that is developmental, age and interest appropriate. Children also play and socialise as a group, allowing older children to be introduced to leadership roles and younger children to learn by watching.
Keiki Early Learning has amazing ‘learning zones’ available to all our children every day. As well as this, both our indoor and outdoor environments enhance children’s learning skills and encourage participation from each and every child. An emphasis is placed on emerging literacy and numeracy skills, self-help and independence skills. We truly believe that the environment is part of the development and education process. That’s why each of our facilities is designed for specific activities and cognitive processes.
At Keiki Early Learning, we focus on delivering play-based learning, with days full of music, active adventures, songs, art and laughter. The educational curriculum is directed by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher who works closely with our highly qualified and experienced team of Educators.
Our Unique Three Plus School Readiness Program
Our Three Plus School Readiness program has been developed especially for the Kindy children. It is structured as play-based learning and is designed to ensure that children are ready to start their schooling journey. Educators connect with teachers from local schools to collaborate and share ideas that help children to start school with confidence.
Let's Work Together
We love to share children’s learning with their families, which is why each child has their own online portfolio. This includes photos, observations and a snapshot of the week in the Kindy Room. Families are able to comment, extend children’s learning at home and share these moments with extended family all around the world.
