Preschool and Outside School Care

Established in 2008, Keiki Early Learning operate a dedicated childcare and early learning centre based at Mindarie Primary School. Catering for children from 3 to 12 years, this centre operates as an outside school care service as well as running a unique Three Plus program onsite.

Our Keiki Mindarie Primary service is ideally positioned to provide the benefits of a close working relationship with Mindarie Primary School, its teachers and staff. We offer a safe, nurturing and stimulating natural environment located conveniently on school grounds. This early learning and OSHC centre is ideally located if you live or work around Mindarie, Quinns Rocks, Merriwa, Clarkson, Somerly or Ridgewood.

Working in close partnership with Mindarie Primary School, our specialised onsite Preschool Program eases the transition from early learning and day-care to formal schooling. Led by highly experienced and qualified early learning educators, we work together with teachers and hold regular excursions to the school to help familiarise children with the environment.

At Keiki Mindarie Primary, we offer a safe environment where children are encouraged to socialise, play and interact with other children and educators outside of school hours. We focus on providing stimulating social and recreational activities for school-aged children through our outside school care programs, including:

• Before and after school care
• Pupil free day activities
• Vacation care programs over school holidays

Our outside school hours care service complies with all state regulations and we are committed to providing the highest quality care for school-aged children in Western Australia.

We believe in giving children a wide variety of environments and activities to choose from. These include the beautiful new nature garden, the basketball courts, and the undercover tiger turf play area. There are also many quiet, serene spaces to sit and watch when your child craves a little peace after a busy day at school. Our outside hours care service also allows graduates of Keiki Mindarie Primary’s Three Plus program to revisit our centre and continue their connection with friends and educators.

Our before school care program is operated every school day before school starts from 6:30am to 8.45am, with after school care running from 2:30pm to 6pm. Click here to find out more about our OSHC program.

Our vacation care program is designed to beat school holiday boredom with a range of planned activities, incursions, and excursions for school-aged children. All children in the local community are able to enrol in our vacation care program, regardless of the primary school they normally attend.
