Keiki Mindarie Keys
Providing Nurturing Care for Babies since 2003
Keiki Mindarie Keys was first established 20 years ago by sisters Sam and Angela, who are proud to continue supporting children and families as part of the Mindarie community today. Led by Centre Coordinator Ruth, our passionate Mindarie Keys team is dedicated to providing children with the best-quality childcare and early education. This quality education and care is extended out to families, with regular free information sessions held on parenting topics such as sleep, nutrition and toileting throughout the year.
A safe and secure home away from home
At Keiki we know that in order for children to learn, they first need to feel safe and secure. Our nurturing baby care program at Mindarie Keys helps your child begin their learning in a warm and comforting environment, supported by qualified and experienced educators. We carefully provide age-appropriate resources and activities, designed to stimulate babies at a developmentally appropriate level and support them as they grow in confidence and independence.
Reggio-Emilia inspired environments
Our philosophy is heavily influenced by the Reggio Emilia approach to learning, which places emphasis on supporting children to direct their own learning and express themselves in a variety of ways through play. Educators are skilled at observing and following children’s interests, using this to guide their learning and development. We use nature-inspired environments as part of the curriculum to invite curiosity and exploration. At Keiki Mindarie Keys, mature trees, sensory fixtures and wooden play structures are complemented by loose parts resources, age-appropriate toys and equipment designed to allow babies to challenge their physical skills safely.
Laying the foundation for a lifetime of learning
All children at Keiki have access to a tailored learning program that is developmental, age, and interest appropriate. Our unique preschool program starts in the babies room and focuses on building social skills and learning through play. As your child progresses through to the toddler and kindy rooms, educators help them to grow into independent, creative, problem-solving learners who have the skills needed to excel in the classroom and beyond.
