Our newborn and baby programs typically caters for infants aged 4 months to children aged 18 months old. We focus on stimulating healthy growth and development through a tailored program that incorporates singing, movement, and sensory play.
Our toddler room provides a perfect environment for toddlers aged between 18 months and 3 years. Our program supports the development of resilience, independence, and emotional regulation utilising play-based learning to enhance cognitive and physical development.
Keiki Early Learning offers a proven Preschool Program tailored for children aged 3 to 5, focusing on introducing early literacy and numeracy concepts, as well as developing fundamental physical, social, and emotional skills through play-based learning. Our focus is to help children learn the necessary skills to transition well into a school environment and develop a life long love of learning.
Keiki Early Learning offers an Outside School Hours Care (OHSC) program that provides a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for school-aged children before and after school.
Keiki Early Learning provides a Vacation Care program in Perth that offers fun and educational activities during school holidays. KEIKI CREW: 5-YEAR PLUS HIGH TEA ☕✨
Last weekend, we welcomed our long-term Keiki Crew to a beautiful high tea at Crown Metropol! Our annual High Tea has become a cherished tradition at Keiki, celebrating the incredible contributions of team members who have been with us for more than five years.
Each year the celebration grows, and in 2025 we were thrilled to honour 40 team members in our 5-Year Plus Club - meaning almost 20% of our entire Keiki Early Learning workforce has been with us for over five years! In addition to the event, eligible team members also received a Loyalty Bonus to recognise another incredible year of service and commitment.
We can’t wait to celebrate even more Keiki Crew joining the 5-Year Plus Club in 2026! ❤️🍰✨

KEIKI HAMERSLEY: Flower magic in the making 🌸🪄
The kindy children at Keiki Hamersley have been absolutely loving their potion making lately! Last week, educators set up a beautiful summery themed potion table outside using flowers freshly picked from our Room Leader Ruth’s garden.
With bowls of petals, leaves, coloured water and plenty of scoops, jugs and mixing tools, the children experimented freely - combining ingredients, exploring colour changes, and proudly sharing their “magic potions” with friends and educators.
Potion tables are always rich with language as children describe what they’re creating, negotiate roles and talk through their ideas. They also provide plenty of opportunities for social skill building - taking turns, collaborating and problem-solving together. And while it all feels like pure fun, potion play is also packed with early numeracy concepts, including measuring, comparing, estimating and noticing how ingredients change when combined. 🫗🍃

KEIKI GLENDALE: Meet the lovely Chantelle! 🌿
Say hello to Chantelle, our wonderful Centre Coordinator at Keiki Glendale. Originally from Canberra, she made the move to Perth in 2023 and has been a much-loved part of the Keiki family for the past year. Working towards a Diploma in Children’s Services (ECEC) and with experience in early childhood education dating back to 2018, she brings a beautiful mix of calm, confidence, and genuine care to our Glendale community.
Chantelle’s approach fits perfectly with Keiki’s philosophy. She’s passionate about upcycling resources, weaving nature into everyday learning, and building strong, trusting relationships with our families. Her gentle leadership style and warm presence have made her a favourite among children, families, and staff alike.
Outside of work, you’ll likely find Chantelle with a book in hand, soaking up the sunshine at the beach, or relaxing with her two cats, Luna and Lulu.
We’re excited to see our little bush school continue to flourish under her care this next year! 🌱☺

KEIKI BUTLER: Nursery’s neighbourhood stroll! ☀☺
This week, a small group of nursery children at Keiki Butler hopped into their four-person strollers and set off for a lovely walk through the neighbourhood, past the parks and down to the local Coles. Along the way, they stopped at Kingsbridge and Brampton Parks where the children spotted some ducks! Everyone pointed, sang little songs, and chatted about the sounds the ducks make. 🦆
Once at Coles, the children and educators chose a range of food items to donate to this year’s Wanneroo Mayor’s Christmas Appeal, giving them a hands-on way to help our community. On the walk home, we waved goodbye to the ducks and enjoyed lots of smiles and friendly hellos from people we passed - it made our outing even more special. The children had a wonderful time in the sunny weather, and a few of our little friends were so relaxed they even had a cosy nap on the way back.
Being part of our local community is so important to us at Keiki, and little adventures like this help our children feel connected to the wider world around them. 💙🌱

We usually place a reference image or still-life object in the middle and it’s always wonderful to see how each child approaches it - some carefully observe and paint what they see, while others let their imagination lead the way with a more impressionistic style.
These sessions follow the Reggio Emilia approach to learning, where children are encouraged to explore their creativity freely without constraints or pre-set limitations. They are a lovely way to practice mindfulness and fine motor skills while experimenting with colours, textures and brush strokes. They also spark some of the best conversations, as children chat about their choices, share ideas, and admire each other’s creations. 🌱☺

KEIKI BUTLER: A tasty step toward school readiness 🥪🍎
At Keiki, we believe that school readiness is about so much more than letters and numbers. It’s also about building real-life skills that help children feel confident and capable in all aspects of their school experience. One of those skills is learning how to manage their very own lunch box!
Throughout Term 4, our Kindy children at all services are invited to bring an empty lunch box from home. Together with educators, they prepare their own lunches, make choices about what to include, and then enjoy a relaxed picnic outdoors with their friends. Educators support children to practice opening and closing their lunch boxes, select their own food, and develop independence around mealtimes.
It’s a simple experience with big benefits - and our Preschoolers absolutely love it! 💛

Today we acknowledged Remembrance Day across our Keiki Early Learning services by taking part in age-appropriate discussions, hands-on experiences, and observing one minute of silence.
At Keiki Hamersley, educators discussed the meaning of the day with the kindy children, and why it`s important to remember and honour the people who fought bravely to ensure the peace, safety and rights of all Australians. We then thoughtfully recreated poppies, a symbol of Remembrance Day, using recycled parts. 🌺

KEIKI TRINITY: Fired up for a special incursion! 🚒🔥
What an exciting day at Keiki Trinity as we welcomed the Quinns Rocks Bush Fire Brigade @quinnsrocksbfbofficial! The children were thrilled to meet the firefighters, explore the fire truck, and hear the siren up close. Our Kindy group took part in an engaging talk about how firefighters keep our community safe and learned all about the important tools and equipment they use - some even getting a chance to spray the hose themselves!
Visits like these strengthen our connection with the local community and help children understand how people work together to keep us safe. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn, ask questions, and feel inspired by real-life community heroes. 👩🏽🚒❤️
KEIKI TRINITY: Fired up for a special incursion! 🚒🔥
What an exciting day at Keiki Trinity as we welcomed the Quinns Rocks Bush Fire Brigade @quinnsrocksbfbofficial! By holding regular First Aid courses for staff and covering the cost, we ensure educators are fully trained and confident in First Aid, emergency response, and CPR. It’s another way we go above and beyond the regulatory requirements to help keep children safe. 💗

The children practiced their social kills and language as they worked together and shared ideas for their potions, developed their fine motor skills as they used tongs, spoons and other tools to add and mix ingredients, and explored early math concepts as they added, measured and weighed.
