In Early Education and Care many children enter the service when their immune systems are still developing. Most children experience up to ten colds per year. They haven’t been exposed to many common germs that cause illnesses before and the way children play and learn means that diseases and illnesses can quickly spread in a variety of ways.
Keiki Early Learning has many strategies to reduce the risk of spreading illnesses and diseases. One of these is following the recommendations from Staying Healthy 5th Edition.
