Friday, 22nd August 2025 - AQWA Excursion*
Children will be split into groups to explore the aquarium of over 45 exhibits. There is a touch pool where children will be able to touch marine life and an underwater tunnel with a travelator for children to travel on. Click to view more information: https://www.aqwa.com.au/ . Excursion location: 291 Southside Dr, Hillarys. Excursion duration: 9:30am - 1:30pm.
Vacation Care Authorisation*
I give permission for the above-named child/ren to participate in the excursions/incursions nominated in the booking section. The means of transport for all excursions will be service bus or chartered bus unless otherwise indicated, and children are required to wear a seatbelt at all times. The anticipated number of children on excursions is 30-70, the number of educators will be 3-7 with a staff ratio of 1:10. Children will be taken out of the premises during the Vacation Care period on planned excursions that are based on children’s ideas and interests. A risk assessment has been prepared and is available from the service, please see your Centre Coordinator.
Terms of Enrolment*
I understand and agree to the terms listed below.
My child must be handed over to an educator at arrival and my child becomes my responsibility once I have made verbal or physical contact with them on collection.
Fees are taken by direct debit from my nominated bank account or credit card weekly each Friday for ONE week in ADVANCE.
Any changes to my child/ren’s booked (casual or permanent) days, including cancellations, require a minimum of two weeks’ notice. In lieu of notice fees will be charged for that time.
My child/ren must be dressed in accordance with our Sun Protection Policy. This includes having shoulders covered (no singlets) and a sun smart hat (no caps). I understand that my child/ren will need to wear sunscreen throughout the day, regardless of the weather. Shoes are essential and must be worn every day. Enclosed shoes are required on excursion days and are recommended for in-house days as it allows children to participate in a variety of activities.
On days when lunch is not supplied by the service, I will need to pack a healthy lunch for my child. I understand that the service is an Allergy Aware service and I will not send my child with any nut products (peanut butter, Nutella etc). I will pack a drink bottle filled only with water. Please do not pack lollies, soft drinks etc. Children who do not have a lunch will be supplied one at the cost of $15 which will be added to fees.
I agree to follow the conditions and responsibilities as set out on the Family Handbook and the Policies and Procedures at the Keiki Early Learning, which I have been provided access to via email at enrolment.
I provide permissions for my child to watch movies or television programs that are related to the educational program that are rated either G/PG.
I understand that my child will participate in a range of play experiences, that may include but are not limited to bouncy castles, woodwork, coloured hairspray, makeup, face paints, nail polish and fake tattoos.
I declare that the details provided to the service for my child's medical, health, dietary and cultural needs and Authorised Nominees (emergency contacts) are correct.

Additional notes about Vacation Care:

Keiki Vacation Care is available for children attending primary school from Kindy through to Year 6. The daily vacation care fee applies.
Children will need to wear shoes, sun safe clothes and bring a sun safe hat and a water bottle each day. Enclosed shoes are required on excursion days and are recommended for in-house days as it allows children to participate in a variety of activities.
In addition to planned excursions and incursions, various child-led activities will be set up and extended upon during the day.
Children are to be dropped off to Keiki Mindarie Primary by 8:30am and will be taken by bus to the excursion venue unless otherwise indicated on the program. The service is open from 6:30am – 6:00pm on Vacation Care days.
