Can I bring food to the Keiki Trinity centre?

At Keiki Trinity we provide nutritious, thoughtfully planned meals prepared fresh each day by our in-house chefs. All of our early learning services are allergy-aware, with strict food safety and nutrition policies in place to keep every child safe and well. If your child has any dietary requirements or allergies that may mean changes are required to their menu, just let your service management team know during orientation so we can ensure the right support is in place.

What food does Keiki Early Learning provide at the Trinity centre?

We follow a seasonal rotating menu inspired by the six Noongar seasons, using fresh, in-season ingredients to create nutritious and tasty meals. All meals are prepared fresh each day by our in-house chefs and are thoughtfully designed to meet children’s daily nutritional needs while also being absolutely delicious!

Our menus are shaped by ongoing feedback from children and families, so we can make sure we’re serving meals that children genuinely enjoy, while giving them the energy and nourishment they need to thrive. The current menu is available to view at your Keiki daycare service at any time. For further details about the specific meals offered at Keiki Trinity Alkimos, we recommend speaking directly with the coordinator, who will be happy to assist.

What should I pack for my child in preparation for attending the Trinity centre?

To help your child have a smooth and comfortable day at Keiki Trinity, we ask you to pack a few key items in their bag. Bringing the right essentials ensures they’re prepared for play, rest, and everything in between.

  • Spare Clothing: Accidents and messy play are part of the fun. Please pack at least one full change of clothes, including underwear and socks.
  • Sun Protection: A wide-brimmed hat is required daily for outdoor play. We reapply sunscreen throughout the day.
  • Drink Bottle: A refillable water bottle to keep your child hydrated throughout the day.
  • Nappies and Wipes: If your child is still in nappies, please provide enough for the day, along with wipes.
  • Bottles and Formula/Breast Milk: For babies, please bring the required amount of formula or breast milk per day, clearly labelled.
  • Bed sheets: Your child will be gifted their very own set of Keiki bed sheets when they start care with us. We ask that you bring in these sheets each day after washing them at home, so your child has bedding to sleep on that smell familiar and comforting.
  • Wet bag: You will also be supplied with a Keiki wet bag when starting care with us. Please pack this wet bag each day as any dirty or soiled clothing will be placed in here.

How does drop-off work at the early childcare centre in Trinity Alkimos?

At Keiki Trinity, we work to ensure drop-offs are as smooth as possible. When you arrive, you’ll bring your child to their room and speak with their educators, who will support a happy and calm start to the day. Each room will follow a routine at drop off such as placing bags away, putting nappies into baskets or unpacking drink bottles for the trolley; children can actively assist in these routines to help build a sense of autonomy. We encourage parents to take a moment to settle their child and share any important information.

For added security, all our services use pin code entry systems to maintain a safe and secure environment for every child. You will be provided with your own unique pin code as part of the enrolment process, and you will use this each day to gain access to your service. You will also be required to sign your child in via our secure Xplor app each day.
